Dr. Waldeck Charles is the Medical Director and one of the founding partners at Neuro Focus Center. He is a trained Child & Adolescent, Adult psychiatrist. He was trained at Kings County/Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Phoenix in 2005 and has worked as a Staff Psychiatrist in different locations in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area with groups like Value Options, Magellan, Partners in Recovery, Lifewell, Correctional Health Services, Promises of Scottsdale, etc. He is now mostly concentrated on expanding the services of the Neuro Focus Center clinic. His dream is to make the Neuro Focus Center an advanced, state of the art behavioral health clinic, with an emphasis in healing through pharmacotherapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Neurofeedback therapy. Dr. Charles is passionate about behavioral health care and providing dynamic treatment options to his patients through evidence-based modalities that are on the cutting edge of modern neuroscience.
